Our lobby is not large and our bathrooms are small but you don't come to the beach to hang out in either. Oceanfront at mile post 15.5 puts the Surf Side in the best spot to be on the Outer Banks. Certainly the fact that our building sits directly oceanfront is the main attraction to staying with us but when you want to go to dinner or visit the many historical sites in the area or fish out of Oregon Inlet or Pirates Cove there is no comparison when it comes to the convenience along with our exceptional service and quality of rooms.

The Simpler family built, owns and operates the landmark property and we take a great deal of pride in the product we present to our customers old and new.
